Barcelona is a city where you can do many amazing things. Catching a great rock concert at the Palau Sant Jordi is one of them.
You don’t go to concerts at the Palau for the acoustics, in fact those aren’t very good. OK, let’s be honest: they suck.
But there’s a reason why international rock stars have always liked to play the Palau, like Peter Gabriel (we were lucky enough to see him there) and Bruce Springsteen (likes it so much he even filmed his DVD “Live in Barcelona” there).
It’s about the energy. In every sense of the word.
Between the surreal surroundings of the Palau, the show itself, and then the all-night insanity that Spaniards and Barcelonians are known for, you’re guaranteed an evening that will shake you to the foundation.
Our advice: if you’re planning a trip to Barcelona, check out the concert schedule. It could be the most impact you’ll get while there.
